I should've known better that this necklace would most likely have problems after finding that most lockets were much more expensive. It's pretty much junk. The gold plating wore off on one in two days; it wore off the other in about two weeks. The cheap chain broke on one of them within the first day although neither of my children were being rough. I think the little one was merely taking her shirt off and the clasp broke. She was heartbroken. It's extremely difficult to insert pictures and those that we were able to fit in there fell out within a day. Perhaps you have to be more adept with scissors but I thought we had done a pretty good job.

There is another seller that offers what looks like the same necklace for much cheaper. It was rated extremely poorly. I went with this seller as I thought that perhaps the other seller was just trying to pull a fast one, offering a knock-off version. It doesn't look like there really is a difference between the two (my experiences pretty much mirror the other, cheaper necklace's reviewer) and that it is merely the manufacturer of this product that should be held accountable.

If you really would like a locket for your child, wait til they're a little older and can take care of their jewelry, bite the bullet and get the more expensive one. I know I will.

Locket great to give a toddler because of price. I gave it to my grandaughter for Valentin's and a classmate pulled on it and broke it the first dau she wore it. Glad it didn't cost that much. She loved it and cried when it got broken.

this was the worst 15 dolers i ever spent i was hilly dissapointed when i got it in the mail i coulda got a better one at the doller stor and spent 14 dllers less ad had it the same da worst locket ever would not recomend to anyone ..do not buy............
